Gurudwara Nanaksar Thath

Gurdwara Nanaksar Thath in Delhi is part of the Nanaksar movement founded by Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji (1869–1943), a celibate mystic who practiced intense meditation and had visions of Guru Nanak, Guru Harkrishan, and Guru Gobind Singh at Hazur Sahib. Sant Nand Singh established preaching centers called Thaths across Punjab, and the Delhi Gurdwara was inaugurated with kirtan and katha in 1968, with the permanent building constructed in 1976 under the patronage of Sant Baba Gurdev Singh Ji. The Gurdwara follows the distinctive Nanaksar maryada (spiritual discipline) emphasizing meditation and continuous recitation of Gurbani.
