Life
Guru Amar Das Ji became the third Guru in 1552. He required every visitor — including those of high rank — to sit in langar before meeting him.
He organised the sangat through the manji system of regional preaching centres, and he composed Anand Sahib, still recited in daily nitnem and at Anand Karaj.
