About
Guru Nanak Prakash Gurdwara in Amritsar takes its name from the concept of "Prakash" (divine light), reflecting Guru Nanak's foundational teaching that the light of the Creator pervades all creation and can be realized through meditation on the divine Name (Naam). Situated in the holy city that Guru Nanak's successors built as the spiritual capital of Sikhism, this Gurdwara carries forward the first Guru's message of universal brotherhood, honest living, and devotion to one formless God, serving the community with daily worship, kirtan, and the open langar tradition.
