About
Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran, meaning "Eradicator of Suffering," draws its name from the Sikh tradition associated with Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Guru, who is believed to have healed villages afflicted by mysterious illnesses through his spiritual presence and blessings. The concept of Dukh Niwaran is deeply embedded in Sikh theology through the Sukhmani Sahib and other scriptures that describe the divine power to relieve suffering. This Gurdwara in Delhi serves as a place where devotees gather to seek spiritual solace, recite Gurbani, and partake in the healing tradition of the Sikh faith.
