About
Preet Vihar Gurdwara serves the Sikh community of Preet Vihar in East Delhi, a residential neighborhood whose name means "abode of love." The Gurdwara maintains the Sikh tradition of open-door hospitality, where every visitor is welcomed with the offering of karah prasad (sacred pudding) and invited to partake in the langar regardless of faith or background. This institution of unconditional sharing, established by Guru Nanak and expanded into a formal system by Guru Angad and Guru Amar Das, serves thousands of meals daily across Gurdwaras worldwide.
