About
Hollywood Sikh Temple, founded by Dr. Amarjit Marwah in 1969, was the first Sikh temple established in the United States following India's independence. Located on North Vermont Avenue in the Los Feliz neighborhood, the current building was constructed in 1996 and was designated a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 2023.
