Dera Baba Anand Singh Ji Maharaj Nirmal

Dera Baba Anand Singh Ji Maharaj Nirmal in Delhi belongs to the Nirmala tradition, one of the oldest orders within Sikhism that was established by Guru Gobind Singh when he sent five Sikhs to Varanasi to study classical Sanskrit literature and Hindu philosophy. The Nirmala order (meaning "pure" or "unsullied") played a crucial role in preserving and interpreting Sikh scripture, producing scholarly commentaries on the Guru Granth Sahib and the Dasam Granth. This Dera continues the Nirmala emphasis on scriptural scholarship, meditation, and the synthesis of spiritual learning.
