About

Gurdwara Guru Singh Sabha in Delhi is part of the extensive network of Singh Sabha gurdwaras across India that trace their inspiration to the reform movement founded in Amritsar in 1873. The movement's greatest achievement was securing the passage of the Sikh Gurdwaras Act of 1925, which wrested control of Sikh shrines from hereditary mahants and placed them under elected community management through the SGPC. This Gurdwara continues to serve the Sikh community with daily worship, kirtan, and langar in accordance with the Rehat Maryada.
