About

Nada Sahib in Panchkula is a historic gurdwara nestled in the Shivalik Hills on the banks of the Ghaggar River, marking the site where Guru Gobind Singh halted in 1688 while traveling from Paonta Sahib to Anandpur Sahib after the Battle of Bhangani. The gurdwara is named after Nadha, a devoted local villager who offered shelter to the Guru and his followers, earning the Guru's blessing that the place would forever bear his name. The shrine features a two-story domed structure, a Sikh heritage museum, and draws especially large crowds on every full moon day.
