About

Neem Sahib Gurudwara in Kaithal commemorates the visit of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, who stopped here during his journey from Anandpur Sahib to Delhi. According to tradition, the Guru sat under a neem tree, held a diwan, and cured a suffering devotee by giving him neem leaves, after which the site became known as Gurdwara Sri Neem Sahib. The gurdwara, located near Dogra Gate, owns 100 bighas of land and celebrates all Gurpurabs with special observances.
