ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਮਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
aadh a(n)t madh prabh soiee ||
God exists in the beginning, in the middle and in the end.
ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਸੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
aape karataa kare su hoiee ||
Whatever the Creator Lord Himself does, comes to pass.
ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਮਿਟਿਆ ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਤੇ ਦਾਲਿਦ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਘਾਲਕਾ ॥੬॥
bhram bhau miTiaa saadhasa(n)g te dhaalidh na koiee ghaalakaa ||6||
Doubt and fear are erased, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, and then one is not afflicted by deadly pain. ||6||
ਊਤਮ ਬਾਣੀ ਗਾਉ ਗੋੁਪਾਲਾ ॥
uootam baanee gaau guopaalaa ||
I sing the most Sublime Bani, the Word of the Lord of the Universe.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੀ ਮੰਗਹੁ ਰਵਾਲਾ ॥
saadhasa(n)gat kee ma(n)gahu ravaalaa ||
I beg for the dust of the feet of the Saadh Sangat.
ਬਾਸਨ ਮੇਟਿ ਨਿਬਾਸਨ ਹੋਈਐ ਕਲਮਲ ਸਗਲੇ ਜਾਲਕਾ ॥੭॥
baasan meT nibaasan hoieeaai kalamal sagale jaalakaa ||7||
Eradicating desire, I have become free of desire; I have burnt away all my sins. ||7||
ਸੰਤਾ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਰੀਤਿ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ॥
sa(n)taa kee ieh reet niraalee ||
This is the unique way of the Saints;
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਨਾਲੀ ॥
paarabraham kar dhekheh naalee ||
they behold the Supreme Lord God with them.
ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਆਰਾਧਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਿਉ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਕੀਜੈ ਆਲਕਾ ॥੮॥
saas saas aaraadhan har har kiau simarat keejai aalakaa ||8||
With each and every breath, they worship and adore the Lord, Har, Har. How could anyone be too lazy to meditate on Him? ||8||
ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥
jeh dhekhaa teh a(n)tarajaamee ||
Wherever I look, there I see the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.
ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਵਿਸਰਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
nimakh na visarahu prabh mere suaamee ||
I never forget God, my Lord and Master, even for an instant.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸਾ ਬਨਿ ਜਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਥਾਲਕਾ ॥੯॥
simar simar jeeveh tere dhaasaa ban jal pooran thaalakaa ||9||
Your slaves live by meditating, meditating in remembrance on the Lord; You are permeating the woods, the water and the land. ||9||
ਤਤੀ ਵਾਉ ਨ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਲਾਗੈ ॥
tatee vaau na taa kau laagai ||
Even the hot wind does not touch one
ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਾਗੈ ॥
simarat naam anadhin jaagai ||
who remains awake in meditative remembrance, night and day.
ਅਨਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਕਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਾਇਆ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਤਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੦॥
anadh binodh kare har simaran tis maiaa sa(n)g na taalakaa ||10||
He delights and enjoys meditative remembrance on the Lord; he has no attachment to Maya. ||10||
ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਦੂਖ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
rog sog dhookh tis naahee ||
Disease, sorrow and pain do not affect him;
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਹੀ ॥
saadhasa(n)g har keeratan gaahee ||
he sings the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੁਣਿ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਖਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੧॥
aapanaa naam dheh prabh preetam sun bena(n)tee khaalakaa ||11||
Please bless me with Your Name, O my Beloved Lord God; please listen to my prayer, O Creator. ||11||
ਨਾਮ ਰਤਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੈ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
naam ratan teraa hai piaare ||
Your Name is a jewel, O my Beloved Lord.
ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਤੇਰੈ ਦਾਸ ਅਪਾਰੇ ॥
ra(n)g rate terai dhaas apaare ||
Your slaves are imbued with Your Infinite Love.
ਤੇਰੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਹੇ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਕੇਈ ਭਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੨॥
terai ra(n)g rate tudh jehe virale keiee bhaalakaa ||12||
Those who are imbued with Your Love, become like You; it is so rare that they are found. ||12||
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਧੂੜਿ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਮਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥
tin kee dhooR maa(n)gai man meraa ||
My mind longs for the dust of the feet of those
ਜਿਨ ਵਿਸਰਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਾਹੂ ਬੇਰਾ ॥
jin visareh naahee kaahoo beraa ||
who never forget the Lord.
ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਈ ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੩॥
tin kai sa(n)g param padh paiee sadhaa sa(n)gee har naalakaa ||13||
Associating with them, I obtain the supreme status; the Lord, my Companion, is always with me. ||13||
ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੀਤੁ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਸੋਈ ॥
saajan meet piaaraa soiee ||
He alone is my beloved friend and companion,
ਏਕੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਏ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਖੋਈ ॥
ek dhiraRaae dhuramat khoiee ||
who implants the Name of the One Lord within, and eradicates evil-mindedness.
ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ਤਜਾਏ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਨਿਰਮਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੪॥
kaam karodh aha(n)kaar tajaae tis jan kau upadhes niramaalakaa ||14||
Immaculate are the teachings of that humble servant of the Lord, who casts out sexual desire, anger and egotism. ||14||
ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਣੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ॥
tudh vin naahee koiee meraa ||
Other than You, O Lord, no one is mine.
ਗੁਰਿ ਪਕੜਾਏ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਪੈਰਾ ॥
gur pakaRaae prabh ke pairaa ||
The Guru has led me to grasp the feet of God.
ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਜਿਨਿ ਖੰਡਿਆ ਭਰਮੁ ਅਨਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੫॥
hau balihaaree satigur poore jin kha(n)ddiaa bharam anaalakaa ||15||
I am a sacrifice to the Perfect True Guru, who has destroyed the illusion of duality. ||15||
ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਬਿਸਰੈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
saas saas prabh bisarai naahee ||
With each and every breath, I never forget God.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਉ ਧਿਆਈ ॥
aaTh pahar har har kau dhiaaiee ||
Twenty-four hours a day, I meditate on the Lord, Har, Har.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਤੇਰੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ਤੂ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਵਡਾਲਕਾ ॥੧੬॥੪॥੧੩॥
naanak sa(n)t terai ra(n)g raate too samarath vaddaalakaa ||16||4||13||
O Nanak, the Saints are imbued with Your Love; You are the great and all-powerful Lord. ||16||4||13||

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਨਿਤ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
charan kamal hiradhai nit dhaaree ||
I enshrine the Lord's lotus feet continually within my heart.
ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਖਿਨੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੀ ॥
gur pooraa khin khin namasakaaree ||
Each and every moment, I humbly bow to the Perfect Guru.
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪਿ ਧਰੀ ਸਭੁ ਆਗੈ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਣਾ ॥੧॥
tan man arap dharee sabh aagai jag meh naam suhaavanaa ||1||
I dedicate my body, mind and everything, and place it in offering before the Lord. His Name is the most beautiful in this world. ||1||
ਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਕਿਉ ਮਨਹੁ ਵਿਸਾਰੇ ॥
so Thaakur kiau manahu visaare ||
Why forget the Lord and Master from your mind?
ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਦੇ ਸਾਜਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
jeeau pi(n)dd dhe saaj savaare ||
He blessed you with body and soul, creating and embellishing you.
ਸਾਸਿ ਗਰਾਸਿ ਸਮਾਲੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਪਣਾ ਪਾਵਣਾ ॥੨॥
saas garaas samaale karataa keetaa apanaa paavanaa ||2||
With every breath and morsel of food, the Creator takes care of His beings, who receive according to what they have done. ||2||
ਜਾ ਤੇ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਊ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
jaa te birathaa kouoo naahee ||
No one returns empty-handed from Him;
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਹਰਿ ਰਖੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
aaTh pahar har rakh man maahee ||
twenty-four hours a day, keep the Lord in your mind.
