ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਜਨ ਭਾਈ ॥

Chant the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮਨੁ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਸਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਅਘਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur prasaadh man asathir hovai anadhin har ras rahiaa aghaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
By Guru's Grace, the mind becomes steady and stable; night and day, it remains satisfied with the Sublime Essence of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਕਾ ਲਾਹਾ ਭਾਈ ॥
anadhin bhagat karahu dhin raatee is jug kaa laahaa bhaiee ||
Night and day, perform devotional worship service to the Lord, day and night; this is the profit to be obtained in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਸਦਾ ਜਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਈ ॥੨॥
sadhaa jan niramal mail na laagai sach naam chit laiee ||2||
The humble beings are forever immaculate; no filth ever sticks to them. They focus their consciousness on the True Name. ||2||
ਸੁਖੁ ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
sukh seegaar satiguroo dhikhaiaa naam vaddee vaddiaaiee ||
The True Guru has revealed the ornamentation of peace; the Glorious Greatness of the Naam is Great!
ਅਖੁਟ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਭਰੇ ਕਦੇ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੇਵਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥੩॥
akhuT bha(n)ddaar bhare kadhe toT na aavai sadhaa har sevahu bhaiee ||3||
The Inexhaustible Treasures are overflowing; they are never exhausted. So serve the Lord forever, O Siblings of Destiny. ||3||
ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਦੇਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਈ ॥
aape karataa jis no dhevai tis vasai man aaiee ||
The Creator comes to abide in the minds of those whom He Himself has blessed.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਦਾ ਤੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੪॥੧॥
naanak naam dhiaai sadhaa too satigur dheeaa dhikhaiee ||4||1||
O Nanak, meditate forever on the Naam, which the True Guru has revealed. ||4||1||
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥
prabhaatee mahalaa teejaa ||
Prabhaatee, Third Mehla:
ਨਿਰਗੁਣੀਆਰੇ ਕਉ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਪੇ ਲੈਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
niraguneeaare kau bakhas lai suaamee aape laih milaiee ||
I am unworthy; please forgive me and bless me, O my Lord and Master, and unite me with Yourself.
ਤੂ ਬਿਅੰਤੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਬਦੇ ਦੇਹੁ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੧॥
too bia(n)t teraa a(n)t na paiaa sabadhe dheh bujhaiee ||1||
You are Endless; no one can find Your limits. Through the Word of Your Shabad, You bestow understanding. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥
har jeeau tudh viTahu bal jaiee ||
O Dear Lord, I am a sacrifice to You.
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪੀ ਤੁਧੁ ਆਗੈ ਰਾਖਉ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tan man arapee tudh aagai raakhau sadhaa rahaa(n) saranaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
I dedicate my mind and body and place them in offering before You; I shall remain in Your Sanctuary forever. ||1||Pause||
ਆਪਣੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਦਾ ਰਖੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੋ ਦੇਹਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
aapane bhaane vich sadhaa rakh suaamee har naamo dheh vaddiaaiee ||
Please keep me forever under Your Will, O my Lord and Master; please bless me with the Glorious Greatness of Your Name.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਭਾਣਾ ਜਾਪੈ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੨॥
poore gur te bhaanaa jaapai anadhin sahaj samaiee ||2||
Through the Perfect Guru, God's Will is revealed; night and day, remain absorbed in peace and poise. ||2||
ਤੇਰੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਭਗਤਿ ਜੇ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
terai bhaanai bhagat je tudh bhaavai aape bakhas milaiee ||
Those devotees who accept Your Will are pleasing to You, Lord; You Yourself forgive them, and unite them with Yourself.
ਤੇਰੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਅਗਨਿ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੩॥
terai bhaanai sadhaa sukh paiaa gur tirasanaa agan bujhaiee ||3||
Accepting Your Will, I have found everlasting peace; the Guru has extinguished the fire of desire. ||3||
ਜੋ ਤੂ ਕਰਹਿ ਸੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਕਰਤੇ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਰਣਾ ਜਾਈ ॥
jo too kareh su hovai karate avar na karanaa jaiee ||
Whatever You do comes to pass, O Creator; nothing else can be done.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਵੈ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦਾਤਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ॥੪॥੨॥
naanak naavai jevadd avar na dhaataa poore gur te paiee ||4||2||
O Nanak, nothing is as great as the Blessing of the Name; it is obtained through the Perfect Guru. ||4||2||
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥
prabhaatee mahalaa teejaa ||
Prabhaatee, Third Mehla:
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਲਾਹਿਆ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਤਿਨ ਸਲਾਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਤਾ ॥
gurmukh har saalaahiaa ji(n)naa tin salaeh har jaataa ||
The Gurmukhs praise the Lord; praising the Lord, they know Him.
ਵਿਚਹੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਗਇਆ ਹੈ ਦੂਜਾ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
vichahu bharam giaa hai dhoojaa gur kai sabadh pachhaataa ||1||
Doubt and duality are gone from within; they realize the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਇਕੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
har jeeau too meraa ik soiee ||
O Dear Lord, You are my One and Only.
ਤੁਧੁ ਜਪੀ ਤੁਧੈ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਤੁਝ ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tudh japee tudhai saalaahee gat mat tujh te hoiee ||1|| rahaau ||
I meditate on You and praise You; salvation and wisdom come from You. ||1||Pause||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਲਾਹਨਿ ਸੇ ਸਾਦੁ ਪਾਇਨਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
gurmukh saalaahan se saadh pain meeThaa a(n)mrit saar ||
The Gurmukhs praise You; they receive the most excellent and sweet Ambrosial Nectar.
ਸਦਾ ਮੀਠਾ ਕਦੇ ਨ ਫੀਕਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਵੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
sadhaa meeThaa kadhe na feekaa gur sabadhee veechaar ||2||
This Nectar is forever sweet; it never loses its taste. Contemplate the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||2||
ਜਿਨਿ ਮੀਠਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਸੋਈ ਜਾਣੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ॥
jin meeThaa laiaa soiee jaanai tis viTahu bal jaiee ||
He makes it seem so sweet to me; I am a sacrifice to Him.
ਸਬਦਿ ਸਲਾਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਈ ॥੩॥
sabadh salaahee sadhaa sukhadhaataa vichahu aap gavaiee ||3||
Through the Shabad, I praise the Giver of peace forever. I have eradicated self-conceit from within. ||3||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਦਾਤਾ ਜੋ ਇਛੈ ਸੋ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
satigur meraa sadhaa hai dhaataa jo ichhai so fal paae ||
My True Guru is forever the Giver. I receive whatever fruits and rewards I desire.
ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਸਚੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੪॥੩॥
naanak naam milai vaddiaaiee gur sabadhee sach paae ||4||3||
O Nanak, through the Naam, glorious greatness is obtained; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the True One is found. ||4||3||
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥

Prabhaatee, Third Mehla:
ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨ ਤੂ ਰਾਖਨ ਜੋਗੁ ॥
jo teree saranaiee har jeeau tin too raakhan jog ||
Those who enter Your Sanctuary, Dear Lord, are saved by Your Protective Power.
ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਮੈ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਸੂਝੈ ਨਾ ਕੋ ਹੋਆ ਨ ਹੋਗੁ ॥੧॥
tudh jevadd mai avar na soojhai naa ko hoaa na hog ||1||
I cannot even conceive of any other as Great as You. There never was, and there never shall be. ||1||
ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
har jeeau sadhaa teree saranaiee ||
O Dear Lord, I shall remain in Your Sanctuary forever.
ਜਿਉ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਉ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਏਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jiau bhaavai tiau raakhahu mere suaamee eh teree vaddiaaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
As it pleases You, You save me, O my Lord and Master; this is Your Glorious Greatness. ||1||Pause||
ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਕਰਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
jo teree saranaiee har jeeau tin kee kareh pratipaal ||
O Dear Lord, You cherish and sustain those who seek Your Sanctuary.
