ਲੋਗਾ ਭਰਮਿ ਨ ਭੂਲਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥
logaa bharam na bhoolahu bhaiee ||
O people, O Siblings of Destiny, do not wander deluded by doubt.
ਖਾਲਿਕੁ ਖਲਕ ਖਲਕ ਮਹਿ ਖਾਲਿਕੁ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸ੍ਰਬ ਠਾਂਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
khaalik khalak khalak meh khaalik poor rahio srab Thaa(n)iee ||1|| rahaau ||
The Creation is in the Creator, and the Creator is in the Creation, totally pervading and permeating all places. ||1||Pause||
ਮਾਟੀ ਏਕ ਅਨੇਕ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਸਾਜੀ ਸਾਜਨਹਾਰੈ ॥
maaTee ek anek bhaa(n)t kar saajee saajanahaarai ||
The clay is the same, but the Fashioner has fashioned it in various ways.
ਨਾ ਕਛੁ ਪੋਚ ਮਾਟੀ ਕੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਨਾ ਕਛੁ ਪੋਚ ਕੁੰਭਾਰੈ ॥੨॥
naa kachh poch maaTee ke bhaa(n)dde naa kachh poch ku(n)bhaarai ||2||
There is nothing wrong with the pot of clay - there is nothing wrong with the Potter. ||2||
ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਸਚਾ ਏਕੋ ਸੋਈ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਭੁ ਕਛੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
sabh meh sachaa eko soiee tis kaa keeaa sabh kachh hoiee ||
The One True Lord abides in all; by His making, everything is made.
ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਨੈ ਸੁ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਨੈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਹੀਐ ਸੋਈ ॥੩॥
hukam pachhaanai su eko jaanai ba(n)dhaa kaheeaai soiee ||3||
Whoever realizes the Hukam of His Command, knows the One Lord. He alone is said to be the Lord's slave. ||3||
ਅਲਹੁ ਅਲਖੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਲਖਿਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਗੁੜੁ ਦੀਨਾ ਮੀਠਾ ॥
alahu alakh na jaiee lakhiaa gur guR dheenaa meeThaa ||
The Lord Allah is Unseen; He cannot be seen. The Guru has blessed me with this sweet molasses.
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੰਕਾ ਨਾਸੀ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਡੀਠਾ ॥੪॥੩॥
keh kabeer meree sa(n)kaa naasee sarab nira(n)jan ddeeThaa ||4||3||
Says Kabeer, my anxiety and fear have been taken away; I see the Immaculate Lord pervading everywhere. ||4||3||

ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਕਹਹੁ ਮਤ ਝੂਠੇ ਝੂਠਾ ਜੋ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰੈ ॥
bedh kateb kahahu mat jhooThe jhooThaa jo na bichaarai ||
Do not say that the Vedas, the Bible and the Koran are false. Those who do not contemplate them are false.
ਜਉ ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਖੁਦਾਇ ਕਹਤ ਹਉ ਤਉ ਕਿਉ ਮੁਰਗੀ ਮਾਰੈ ॥੧॥
jau sabh meh ek khudhai kahat hau tau kiau muragee maarai ||1||
You say that the One Lord is in all, so why do you kill chickens? ||1||
ਮੁਲਾਂ ਕਹਹੁ ਨਿਆਉ ਖੁਦਾਈ ॥
mulaa(n) kahahu niaau khudhaiee ||
O Mullah, tell me: is this God's Justice?
ਤੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਕਾ ਭਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
tere man kaa bharam na jaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
The doubts of your mind have not been dispelled. ||1||Pause||
ਪਕਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਆਨਿਆ ਦੇਹ ਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਮਾਟੀ ਕਉ ਬਿਸਮਿਲਿ ਕੀਆ ॥
pakar jeeau aaniaa dheh binaasee maaTee kau bisamil keeaa ||
You seize a living creature, and then bring it home and kill its body; you have killed only the clay.
ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਨਾਹਤ ਲਾਗੀ ਕਹੁ ਹਲਾਲੁ ਕਿਆ ਕੀਆ ॥੨॥
jot saroop anaahat laagee kahu halaal kiaa keeaa ||2||
The light of the soul passes into another form. So tell me, what have you killed? ||2||
ਕਿਆ ਉਜੂ ਪਾਕੁ ਕੀਆ ਮੁਹੁ ਧੋਇਆ ਕਿਆ ਮਸੀਤਿ ਸਿਰੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥
kiaa ujoo paak keeaa muh dhoiaa kiaa maseet sir laiaa ||
And what good are your purifications? Why do you bother to wash your face? And why do you bother to bow your head in the mosque?
ਜਉ ਦਿਲ ਮਹਿ ਕਪਟੁ ਨਿਵਾਜ ਗੁਜਾਰਹੁ ਕਿਆ ਹਜ ਕਾਬੈ ਜਾਇਆ ॥੩॥
jau dhil meh kapaT nivaaj gujaarahu kiaa haj kaabai jaiaa ||3||
Your heart is full of hypocrisy; what good are your prayers or your pilgrimage to Mecca? ||3||
ਤੂੰ ਨਾਪਾਕੁ ਪਾਕੁ ਨਹੀ ਸੂਝਿਆ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਮਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥
too(n) naapaak paak nahee soojhiaa tis kaa maram na jaaniaa ||
You are impure; you do not understand the Pure Lord. You do not know His Mystery.
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਭਿਸਤਿ ਤੇ ਚੂਕਾ ਦੋਜਕ ਸਿਉ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥੪॥੪॥
keh kabeer bhisat te chookaa dhojak siau man maaniaa ||4||4||
Says Kabeer, you have missed out on paradise; your mind is set on hell. ||4||4||

ਸੁੰਨ ਸੰਧਿਆ ਤੇਰੀ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਾਕਰ ਅਧਪਤਿ ਆਦਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥
su(n)n sa(n)dhiaa teree dhev dhevaakar adhapat aadh samaiee ||
Hear my prayer, Lord; You are the Divine Light of the Divine, the Primal, All-pervading Master.
ਸਿਧ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਲਾਗਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਰਨਾਈ ॥੧॥
sidh samaadh a(n)t nahee paiaa laag rahe saranaiee ||1||
The Siddhas in Samaadhi have not found Your limits. They hold tight to the Protection of Your Sanctuary. ||1||
ਲੇਹੁ ਆਰਤੀ ਹੋ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੂਜਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥
leh aaratee ho purakh nira(n)jan satigur poojahu bhaiee ||
Worship and adoration of the Pure, Primal Lord comes by worshipping the True Guru, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਠਾਢਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨਿਗਮ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ਅਲਖੁ ਨ ਲਖਿਆ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Thaaddaa brahamaa nigam beechaarai alakh na lakhiaa jaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
Standing at His Door, Brahma studies the Vedas, but he cannot see the Unseen Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਤਤੁ ਤੇਲੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਕੀਆ ਬਾਤੀ ਦੀਪਕੁ ਦੇਹ ਉਜੵਾਰਾ ॥
tat tel naam keeaa baatee dheepak dheh ujayeaaraa ||
With the oil of knowledge about the essence of reality, and the wick of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, this lamp illluminates my body.
ਜੋਤਿ ਲਾਇ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਜਗਾਇਆ ਬੂਝੈ ਬੂਝਨਹਾਰਾ ॥੨॥
jot lai jagadhees jagaiaa boojhai boojhanahaaraa ||2||
I have applied the Light of the Lord of the Universe, and lit this lamp. God the Knower knows. ||2||
ਪੰਚੇ ਸਬਦ ਅਨਾਹਦ ਬਾਜੇ ਸੰਗੇ ਸਾਰਿੰਗਪਾਨੀ ॥
pa(n)che sabadh anaahadh baaje sa(n)ge saari(n)gapaanee ||
The Unstruck Melody of the Panch Shabad, the Five Primal Sounds, vibrates and resounds. I dwell with the Lord of the World.
ਕਬੀਰ ਦਾਸ ਤੇਰੀ ਆਰਤੀ ਕੀਨੀ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਨਿਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੩॥੫॥
kabeer dhaas teree aaratee keenee nira(n)kaar nirabaanee ||3||5||
Kabeer, Your slave, performs this Aartee, this lamp-lit worship service for You, O Formless Lord of Nirvaanaa. ||3||5||

ਮਨ ਕੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਮਨੁ ਹੀ ਜਾਨੈ ਕੈ ਬੂਝਲ ਆਗੈ ਕਹੀਐ ॥
man kee birathaa man hee jaanai kai boojhal aagai kaheeaai ||
The mind alone knows the state of the mind; I tell it to the Knowing Lord.
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਵਾਂਈ ਮੈ ਡਰੁ ਕੈਸੇ ਚਹੀਐ ॥੧॥
a(n)tarajaamee raam ravaa(n)iee mai ddar kaise chaheeaai ||1||
I chant the Name of the Lord, the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts - why should I be afraid? ||1||
ਬੇਧੀਅਲੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਗੋੁਸਾਈ ॥
bedheeale gopaal guosaiee ||
My mind is pierced through by the love of the Lord of the World.
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਵਿਆ ਸਰਬੇ ਠਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
meraa prabh raviaa sarabe Thaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
My God is All-pervading everywhere. ||1||Pause||
ਮਾਨੈ ਹਾਟੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਪਾਟੁ ਮਾਨੈ ਹੈ ਪਾਸਾਰੀ ॥
maanai haaT maanai paaT maanai hai paasaaree ||
The mind is the shop, the mind is the town, and the mind is the shopkeeper.
ਮਾਨੈ ਬਾਸੈ ਨਾਨਾ ਭੇਦੀ ਭਰਮਤੁ ਹੈ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ॥੨॥
maanai baasai naanaa bhedhee bharamat hai sa(n)saaree ||2||
The mind abides in various forms, wandering all across the world. ||2||
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਏਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਤਾ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਣੀ ॥
gur kai sabadh eh man raataa dhubidhaa sahaj samaanee ||
This mind is imbued with the Word of the Guru's Shabad, and duality is easily overcome.
