ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸਭਿ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰਣਹਾਰੋ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥
naanak har jap sukh paiaa meree ji(n)dhuRe'e sabh dhookh nivaaranahaaro raam ||1||
Nanak has found peace, meditating on the Lord, O my soul; the Lord is the Destroyer of all pain. ||1||
ਸਾ ਰਸਨਾ ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
saa rasanaa dhan dha(n)n hai meree ji(n)dhuRe'e gun gaavai har prabh kere raam ||
Blessed, blessed is that tongue, O my soul, which sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord God.
ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਭਲੇ ਸੋਭਨੀਕ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਸੁਣਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
te sravan bhale sobhaneek heh meree ji(n)dhuRe'e har keeratan suneh har tere raam ||
Sublime and splendid are those ears, O my soul, which listen to the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises.
ਸੋ ਸੀਸੁ ਭਲਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਾਵਨੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਜਾਇ ਲਗੈ ਗੁਰ ਪੈਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
so sees bhalaa pavitr paavan hai meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo jai lagai gur paire raam ||
Sublime, pure and pious is that head, O my soul, which falls at the Guru's Feet.
ਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਿਨਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਿਤੇਰੇ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
gur viTahu naanak vaariaa meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jin har har naam chitere raam ||2||
Nanak is a sacrifice to that Guru, O my soul; the Guru has placed the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, in my mind. ||2||
ਤੇ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਭਲੇ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥
te netr bhale paravaan heh meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo saadhoo satigur dhekheh raam ||
Blessed and approved are those eyes, O my soul, which gaze upon the Holy True Guru.
ਤੇ ਹਸਤ ਪੁਨੀਤ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਲੇਖਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥
te hasat puneet pavitr heh meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo har jas har har lekheh raam ||
Sacred and sanctified are those hands, O my soul, which write the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੇ ਪਗ ਨਿਤ ਪੂਜੀਅਹਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਧਰਮ ਚਲੇਸਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥
tis jan ke pag nit pooje'eeh meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo maarag dharam chaleseh raam ||
I worship continually the feet of that humble being, O my soul, who walks on the Path of Dharma - the path of righteousness.
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨੇਸਹਿ ਰਾਮ ॥੩॥
naanak tin viTahu vaariaa meree ji(n)dhuRe'e har sun har naam maneseh raam ||3||
Nanak is a sacrifice to those, O my soul, who hear of the Lord, and believe in the Lord's Name. ||3||
ਧਰਤਿ ਪਾਤਾਲੁ ਆਕਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸਭ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
dharat paataal aakaas hai meree ji(n)dhuRe'e sabh har har naam dhiaavai raam ||
The earth, the nether regions of the underworld, and the Akaashic ethers, O my soul, all meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.
ਪਉਣੁ ਪਾਣੀ ਬੈਸੰਤਰੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
paun paanee baisa(n)taro meree ji(n)dhuRe'e nit har har har jas gaavai raam ||
Wind, water and fire, O my soul, continually sing the Praises of the Lord, Har, Har, Har.
ਵਣੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਣੁ ਸਭੁ ਆਕਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
van tiran sabh aakaar hai meree ji(n)dhuRe'e mukh har har naam dhiaavai raam ||
The woods, the meadows and the whole world, O my soul, chant with their mouths the Lord's Name, and meditate on the Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਿ ਪੈਨੑਾਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥੪॥੪॥
naanak te har dhar pain(h)aiaa meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo gurmukh bhagat man laavai raam ||4||4||
O Nanak, one who, as Gurmukh, focuses his consciousness on the Lord's devotional worship - O my soul, he is robed in honor in the Court of the Lord. ||4||4||
ਬਿਹਾਗੜਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥

Bihaagraa, Fourth Mehla:
ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨ ਚੇਤਿਓ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਤੇ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੂੜ ਇਆਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
jin har har naam na chetio meree ji(n)dhuRe'e te manmukh mooR iaane raam ||
Those who do not remember the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, O my soul - those self-willed manmukhs are foolish and ignorant.
ਜੋ ਮੋਹਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਇਦੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸੇ ਅੰਤਿ ਗਏ ਪਛੁਤਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
jo moh maiaa chit laidhe meree ji(n)dhuRe'e se a(n)t ge pachhutaane raam ||
Those who attach their consciousness to emotional attachment and Maya, O my soul, depart regretfully in the end.
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਢੋਈ ਨਾ ਲਹਨਿੑ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਪਾਪਿ ਲੁਭਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
har dharageh ddoiee naa lahani(h) meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo manmukh paap lubhaane raam ||
They find no place of rest in the Court of the Lord, O my soul; those self-willed manmukhs are deluded by sin.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਉਬਰੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਣੇ ਰਾਮ ॥੧॥
jan naanak gur mil ubare meree ji(n)dhuRe'e har jap har naam samaane raam ||1||
O servant Nanak, those who meet the Guru are saved, O my soul; chanting the Name of the Lord, they are absorbed in the Name of the Lord. ||1||
ਸਭਿ ਜਾਇ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਉ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
sabh jai milahu satiguroo kau meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jo har har naam dhiraRaavai raam ||
Go, everyone, and meet the True Guru; O my soul, He implants the Name of the Lord, Har, har, within the heart.
ਹਰਿ ਜਪਦਿਆ ਖਿਨੁ ਢਿਲ ਨ ਕੀਜਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਮਤੁ ਕਿ ਜਾਪੈ ਸਾਹੁ ਆਵੈ ਕਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
har japadhiaa khin ddil na keejiee meree ji(n)dhuRe'e mat k jaapai saahu aavai k na aavai raam ||
Do not hesitate for an instant - meditate on the Lord, O my soul; who knows whether he shall draw another breath?
ਸਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਸੋ ਮੂਰਤੁ ਸਾ ਘੜੀ ਸੋ ਮੁਹਤੁ ਸਫਲੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਿਤੁ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥
saa velaa so moorat saa ghaRee so muhat safal hai meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jit har meraa chit aavai raam ||
That time, that moment, that instant, that second is so fruitful, O my soul, when my Lord comes into my mind.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਰਾਮ ॥੨॥
jan naanak naam dhiaaiaa meree ji(n)dhuRe'e jamaka(n)kar neR na aavai raam ||2||
Servant Nanak has meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, O my soul, and now, the Messenger of Death does not draw near him. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਸੁਣੈ ਨਿਤ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸੋ ਡਰੈ ਜਿਨਿ ਪਾਪ ਕਮਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
har vekhai sunai nit sabh kichh meree ji(n)dhuRe'e so ddarai jin paap kamate raam ||
The Lord continually watches, and hears everything, O my soul; he alone is afraid, who commits sins.
ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਤਰੁ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਸੁਧੁ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਤਿਨਿ ਜਨਿ ਸਭਿ ਡਰ ਸੁਟਿ ਘਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
jis a(n)tar hiradhaa sudh hai meree ji(n)dhuRe'e tin jan sabh ddar suT ghate raam ||
One whose heart is pure within, O my soul, casts off all his fears.
ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਾਮਿ ਪਤੀਜਿਆ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੁੜੀਏ ਸਭਿ ਝਖ ਮਾਰਨੁ ਦੁਸਟ ਕੁਪਤੇ ਰਾਮ ॥
har nirabhau naam pateejiaa meree ji(n)dhuRe'e sabh jhakh maaran dhusaT kupate raam ||
One who has faith in the Fearless Name of the Lord, O my soul - all his enemies and attackers speak against him in vain.
