ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਹਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥
har ek simar ek simar ek simar piaare ||
Meditate in remembrance on the One Lord; meditate in remembrance on the One Lord; meditate in remembrance on the One Lord, O my Beloved.
ਕਲਿ ਕਲੇਸ ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਮਹਾ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਤਾਰੇ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
kal kales lobh moh mahaa bhaujal taare || rahaau ||
He shall save you from strife, suffering, greed, attachment, and the most terrifying world-ocean. ||Pause||
ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਨਿਮਖ ਨਿਮਖ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ॥
saas saas nimakh nimakh dhinas rain chitaare ||
With each and every breath, each and every instant, day and night, dwell upon Him.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗ ਜਪਿ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਮਨਿ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਧਾਰੇ ॥੧॥
saadhasa(n)g jap nisa(n)g man nidhaan dhaare ||1||
In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, meditate on Him fearlessly, and enshrine the treasure of His Name in your mind. ||1||
ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਗੁਨ ਗੋਬਿਦ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥
charan kamal namasakaar gun gobidh beechaare ||
Worship His lotus feet, and contemplate the glorious virtues of the Lord of the Universe.
ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਰੇਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੰਗਲ ਸੂਖ ਸਧਾਰੇ ॥੨॥੧॥੩੧॥
saadh janaa kee ren naanak ma(n)gal sookh sadhaare ||2||1||31||
O Nanak, the dust of the feet of the Holy shall bless you with pleasure and peace. ||2||1||31||

ਸਿਮਰਉ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਉ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਮਾਲੇ ॥
simarau simar simar sukh paavau saas saas samaale ||
Remembering, remembering, remembering Him in meditation, I find peace; with each and every breath, I dwell upon Him.
ਇਹ ਲੋਕਿ ਪਰਲੋਕਿ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਮੋਹਿ ਰਖਵਾਲੇ ॥੧॥
eeh lok paralok sa(n)g sahaiee jat kat moh rakhavaale ||1||
In this world, and in the world beyond, He is with me, as my help and support; wherever I go, He protects me. ||1||
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਬਚਨੁ ਬਸੈ ਜੀਅ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
gur kaa bachan basai jeea naale ||
The Guru's Word abides with my soul.
ਜਲਿ ਨਹੀ ਡੂਬੈ ਤਸਕਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਲੇਵੈ ਭਾਹਿ ਨ ਸਾਕੈ ਜਾਲੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jal nahee ddoobai tasakar nahee levai bhaeh na saakai jaale ||1|| rahaau ||
It does not sink in water; thieves cannot steal it, and fire cannot burn it. ||1||Pause||
ਨਿਰਧਨ ਕਉ ਧਨੁ ਅੰਧੁਲੇ ਕਉ ਟਿਕ ਮਾਤ ਦੂਧੁ ਜੈਸੇ ਬਾਲੇ ॥
niradhan kau dhan a(n)dhule kau Tik maat dhoodh jaise baale ||
It is like wealth to the poor, a cane for the blind, and mother's milk for the infant.
ਸਾਗਰ ਮਹਿ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੇ ॥੨॥੧॥੩੨॥
saagar meh bohith paio har naanak karee kirapaa kirapaale ||2||1||32||
In the ocean of the world, I have found the boat of the Lord; the Merciful Lord has bestowed His Mercy upon Nanak. ||2||1||32||

ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ਦਇਆਲ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਸਿੰਚਾਈ ॥
bhe kirapaal dhiaal gobi(n)dhaa a(n)mrit ridhai si(n)chaiee ||
The Lord of the Universe has become kind and merciful; His Ambrosial Nectar permeates my heart.
ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਗਿ ਰਹੀ ਜਨ ਪਾਈ ॥੧॥
nav nidh ridh sidh har laag rahee jan paiee ||1||
The nine treasures, riches and the miraculous spiritual powers of the Siddhas cling to the feet of the Lord's humble servant. ||1||
ਸੰਤਨ ਕਉ ਅਨਦੁ ਸਗਲ ਹੀ ਜਾਈ ॥
sa(n)tan kau anadh sagal hee jaiee ||
The Saints are in ecstasy everywhere.
ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਭਗਤਨ ਕਾ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਸ੍ਰਬ ਠਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gireh baahar Thaakur bhagatan kaa rav rahiaa srab Thaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
Within the home, and outside as well, the Lord and Master of His devotees is totally pervading and permeating everywhere. ||1||Pause||
ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਪਹੁਚਨਹਾਰਾ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਅੰਗਿ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥
taa kau koi na pahuchanahaaraa jaa kai a(n)g gusaiee ||
No one can equal one who has the Lord of the Universe on his side.
ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਮਿਟੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈ ॥੨॥੨॥੩੩॥
jam kee traas miTai jis simarat naanak naam dhiaaiee ||2||2||33||
The fear of the Messenger of Death is eradicated, remembering Him in meditation; Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||2||2||33||
ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehla:
ਦਰਬਵੰਤੁ ਦਰਬੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਗਰਬੈ ਭੂਮਵੰਤੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ॥
dharabava(n)t dharab dhekh garabai bhoomava(n)t abhimaanee ||
The rich man gazes upon his riches, and is proud of himself; the landlord takes pride in his lands.
ਰਾਜਾ ਜਾਨੈ ਸਗਲ ਰਾਜੁ ਹਮਰਾ ਤਿਉ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਟੇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥੧॥
raajaa jaanai sagal raaj hamaraa tiau har jan Tek suaamee ||1||
The king believes that the whole kingdom belongs to him; in the same way, the humble servant of the Lord looks upon the support of his Lord and Master. ||1||
ਜੇ ਕੋਊ ਅਪੁਨੀ ਓਟ ਸਮਾਰੈ ॥
je kouoo apunee oT samaarai ||
When one considers the Lord to be his only support,
ਜੈਸਾ ਬਿਤੁ ਤੈਸਾ ਹੋਇ ਵਰਤੈ ਅਪੁਨਾ ਬਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਹਾਰੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jaisaa bit taisaa hoi varatai apunaa bal nahee haarai ||1|| rahaau ||
then the Lord uses His power to help him; this power cannot be defeated. ||1||Pause||
ਆਨ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਭਏ ਇਕ ਆਸਰ ਸਰਣਿ ਸਰਣਿ ਕਰਿ ਆਏ ॥
aan tiaag bhe ik aasar saran saran kar aae ||
Renouncing all others, I have sought the Support of the One Lord; I have come to Him, pleading, ""Save me, save me!""
ਸੰਤ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹ ਭਏ ਮਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਏ ॥੨॥੩॥੩੪॥
sa(n)t anugreh bhe man niramal naanak har gun gaae ||2||3||34||
By the kindness and the Grace of the Saints, my mind has been purified; Nanak sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||2||3||34||

Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehla:
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗੋ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੋ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਹੈ ਸੂਰਾ ॥
jaa kau har ra(n)g laago is jug meh so kaheeat hai sooraa ||
He alone is called a warrior, who is attached to the Lord's Love in this age.
ਆਤਮ ਜਿਣੈ ਸਗਲ ਵਸਿ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੧॥
aatam jinai sagal vas taa kai jaa kaa satigur pooraa ||1||
Through the Perfect True Guru, he conquers his own soul, and then everything comes under his control. ||1||
