ਬਾਬੁਲਿ ਦਿਤੜੀ ਦੂਰਿ ਨਾ ਆਵੈ ਘਰਿ ਪੇਈਐ ਬਲਿ ਰਾਮ ਜੀਉ ॥
baabul dhitaRee dhoor naa aavai ghar peieeaai bal raam jeeau ||
My father has given me in marriage far away, and I shall not return to my parents' home.
ਰਹਸੀ ਵੇਖਿ ਹਦੂਰਿ ਪਿਰਿ ਰਾਵੀ ਘਰਿ ਸੋਹੀਐ ਬਲਿ ਰਾਮ ਜੀਉ ॥
rahasee vekh hadhoor pir raavee ghar soheeaai bal raam jeeau ||
I am delighted to see my Husband Lord near at hand; in His Home, I am so beautiful.
ਸਾਚੇ ਪਿਰ ਲੋੜੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਜੋੜੀ ਮਤਿ ਪੂਰੀ ਪਰਧਾਨੇ ॥
saache pir loRee preetam joRee mat pooree paradhaane ||
My True Beloved Husband Lord desires me; He has joined me to Himself, and made my intellect pure and sublime.
ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਮੇਲਾ ਥਾਨਿ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ਗੁਣਵੰਤੀ ਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨੇ ॥
sa(n)jogee melaa thaan suhelaa gunava(n)tee gur giaane ||
By good destiny I met Him, and was given a place of rest; through the Guru's Wisdom, I have become virtuous.
ਸਤੁ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਚੁ ਪਲੈ ਸਚੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਪਿਰ ਭਾਏ ॥
sat sa(n)tokh sadhaa sach palai sach bolai pir bhaae ||
I gather lasting Truth and contentment in my lap, and my Beloved is pleased with my truthful speech.
ਨਾਨਕ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ ਨਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਅੰਕਿ ਸਮਾਏ ॥੪॥੧॥
naanak vichhuR naa dhukh paae gurmat a(n)k samaae ||4||1||
O Nanak, I shall not suffer the pain of separation; through the Guru's Teachings, I merge into the loving embrace of the Lord's Being. ||4||1||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਹਮ ਘਰਿ ਸਾਜਨ ਆਏ ॥
ham ghar saajan aae ||
My friends have come into my home.
ਸਾਚੈ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥
saachai mel milaae ||
The True Lord has united me with them.
ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਏ ਪੰਚ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
sahaj milaae har man bhaae pa(n)ch mile sukh paiaa ||
The Lord automatically united me with them when it pleased Him; uniting with the chosen ones, I have found peace.
ਸਾਈ ਵਸਤੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਈ ਜਿਸੁ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਇਆ ॥
saiee vasat paraapat hoiee jis setee man laiaa ||
I have obtained that thing, which my mind desired.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਮੇਲੁ ਭਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਸੋਹਾਏ ॥
anadhin mel bhiaa man maaniaa ghar ma(n)dhar sohaae ||
Meeting with them, night and day, my mind is pleased; my home and mansion are beautified.
ਪੰਚ ਸਬਦ ਧੁਨਿ ਅਨਹਦ ਵਾਜੇ ਹਮ ਘਰਿ ਸਾਜਨ ਆਏ ॥੧॥
pa(n)ch sabadh dhun anahadh vaaje ham ghar saajan aae ||1||
The unstruck sound current of the Panch Shabad, the Five Primal Sounds, vibrates and resounds; my friends have come into my home. ||1||
ਆਵਹੁ ਮੀਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਨਾਰੇ ॥
aavahu meet piaare || ma(n)gal gaavahu naare ||
So come, my beloved friends, and sing the songs of joy, O sisters.
ਸਚੁ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵਹੁ ਸੋਹਿਲੜਾ ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰੇ ॥
sach ma(n)gal gaavahu taa prabh bhaavahu sohilaRaa jug chaare ||
Sing the true songs of joy and God will be pleased. You shall be celebrated throughout the four ages.
ਅਪਨੈ ਘਰਿ ਆਇਆ ਥਾਨਿ ਸੁਹਾਇਆ ਕਾਰਜ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
apanai ghar aaiaa thaan suhaiaa kaaraj sabadh savaare ||
My Husband Lord has come into my home, and my place is adorned and decorated. Through the Shabad, my affairs have been resolved.
ਗਿਆਨ ਮਹਾ ਰਸੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣ ਰੂਪੁ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ॥
giaan mahaa ras netree a(n)jan tirabhavan roop dhikhaiaa ||
Applying the ointment, the supreme essence, of divine wisdom to my eyes, I see the Lord's form throughout the three worlds.
ਸਖੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਰਸਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੁ ਹਮ ਘਰਿ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਆਇਆ ॥੨॥
sakhee milahu ras ma(n)gal gaavahu ham ghar saajan aaiaa ||2||
So join with me, my sisters, and sing the songs of joy and delight; my friends have come into my home. ||2||
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਭਿੰਨਾ ॥
man tan a(n)mirat bhi(n)naa ||
My mind and body are drenched with Ambrosial Nectar;
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੁ ਰਤੰਨਾ ॥
a(n)tar prem rata(n)naa ||
deep within the nucleus of my self, is the jewel of the Lord's Love.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਮੇਰੈ ਪਰਮ ਤਤੁ ਵੀਚਾਰੋ ॥
a(n)tar ratan padhaarath merai param tat veechaaro ||
This invaluable jewel is deep within me; I contemplate the supreme essence of reality.
ਜੰਤ ਭੇਖ ਤੂ ਸਫਲਿਓ ਦਾਤਾ ਸਿਰਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰੋ ॥
ja(n)t bhekh too safalio dhaataa sir sir dhevanahaaro ||
Living beings are mere beggars; You are the Giver of rewards; You are the Giver to each and every being.
ਤੂ ਜਾਨੁ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਆਪੇ ਕਾਰਣੁ ਕੀਨਾ ॥
too jaan giaanee a(n)tarajaamee aape kaaran keenaa ||
You are Wise and All-knowing, the Inner-knower; You Yourself created the creation.
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਖੀ ਮਨੁ ਮੋਹਨਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਭੀਨਾ ॥੩॥
sunahu sakhee man mohan mohiaa tan man a(n)mirat bheenaa ||3||
So listen, O my sisters - the Enticer has enticed my mind. My body and mind are drenched with Nectar. ||3||
ਆਤਮ ਰਾਮੁ ਸੰਸਾਰਾ ॥
aatam raam sa(n)saaraa ||
O Supreme Soul of the World,
ਸਾਚਾ ਖੇਲੁ ਤੁਮੑਾਰਾ ॥
saachaa khel tum(h)aaraa ||
Your play is true.
ਸਚੁ ਖੇਲੁ ਤੁਮੑਾਰਾ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਉਣੁ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥
sach khel tum(h)aaraa agam apaaraa tudh bin kaun bujhaae ||
Your play is true, O Inaccessible and Infinite Lord; without You, who can make me understand?
ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਕੇਤੇ ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਵਣੁ ਕਹਾਏ ॥
sidh saadhik siaane kete tujh bin kavan kahaae ||
There are millions of Siddhas and enlightened seekers, but without You, who can call himself one?
ਕਾਲੁ ਬਿਕਾਲੁ ਭਏ ਦੇਵਾਨੇ ਮਨੁ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਗੁਰਿ ਠਾਏ ॥
kaal bikaal bhe dhevaane man raakhiaa gur Thaae ||
Death and rebirth drive the mind insane; only the Guru can hold it in its place.
ਨਾਨਕ ਅਵਗਣ ਸਬਦਿ ਜਲਾਏ ਗੁਣ ਸੰਗਮਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਏ ॥੪॥੧॥੨॥
naanak avagan sabadh jalaae gun sa(n)gam prabh paae ||4||1||2||
O Nanak, one who burns away his demerits and faults with the Shabad, accumulates virtue, and finds God. ||4||1||2||

Come, my friend, so that I may behold the blessed Vision of Your Darshan.
ਘਰਿ ਆਪਨੜੈ ਖੜੀ ਤਕਾ ਮੈ ਮਨਿ ਚਾਉ ਘਨੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
ghar aapanaRai khaRee takaa mai man chaau ghaneraa raam ||
I stand in my doorway, watching for You; my mind is filled with such a great yearning.
ਮਨਿ ਚਾਉ ਘਨੇਰਾ ਸੁਣਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੈ ਤੇਰਾ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ॥
man chaau ghaneraa sun prabh meraa mai teraa bharavaasaa ||
My mind is filled with such a great yearning; hear me, O God - I place my faith in You.
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਖਿ ਭਈ ਨਿਹਕੇਵਲ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਾਸਾ ॥
dharasan dhekh bhiee nihakeval janam maran dhukh naasaa ||
Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, I have become free of desire; the pains of birth and death are taken away.
