ਸਹੀ ਸਲਾਮਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਲ ॥
sahee salaamat mil ghar aae ni(n)dhak ke mukh hoe kaal ||
Safe and sound, we have returned home, while the slanderer's face is blackened.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਏ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੨॥੨੭॥੧੧੩॥
kahu naanak meraa satigur pooraa gur prasaadh prabh bhe nihaal ||2||27||113||
Says Nanak, my True Guru is Perfect; by the Grace of God and Guru, I am so happy. ||2||27||113||
ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Bilaaval, Fifth Mehla:
ਮੂ ਲਾਲਨ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਨੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
moo laalan siau preet banee || rahaau ||
I have fallen in love with my Beloved Lord. ||Pause||
ਤੋਰੀ ਨ ਤੂਟੈ ਛੋਰੀ ਨ ਛੂਟੈ ਐਸੀ ਮਾਧੋ ਖਿੰਚ ਤਨੀ ॥੧॥
toree na tooTai chhoree na chhooTai aaisee maadho khi(n)ch tanee ||1||
Cutting it, it does not break, and releasing it, it does not let go. Such is the string the Lord has tied me with. ||1||
ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਨਿ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਸਤੁ ਹੈ ਤੂ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੀ ॥੨॥
dhinas rain man maeh basat hai too kar kirapaa prabh apanee ||2||
Day and night, He dwells within my mind; please bless me with Your Mercy, O my God. ||2||
ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ਸਿਆਮ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਉ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਸੁਨੀ ॥੩॥
bal bal jaau siaam su(n)dhar kau akath kathaa jaa kee baat sunee ||3||
I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to my beauteous Lord; I have heard his Unspoken Speech and Story. ||3||
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸਨਿ ਦਾਸੁ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਹੈ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਰਹੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੀ ॥੪॥੨੮॥੧੧੪॥
jan naanak dhaasan dhaas kaheeat hai moh karahu kirapaa Thaakur apunee ||4||28||114||
Servant Nanak is said to be the slave of His slaves; O my Lord and Master, please bless me with Your Mercy. ||4||28||114||

Bilaaval, Fifth Mehla:
ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਜਪਿ ਜਾਂਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ॥
har ke charan jap jaa(n)au kurabaan ||
I meditate on the Lord's Feet; I am a sacrifice to Them.
ਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਧਰਿ ਮਨ ਧਿਆਨੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
gur meraa paarabraham paramesur taa kaa hiradhai dhar man dhiaan ||1|| rahaau ||
My Guru is the Supreme Lord God, the Transcendent Lord; I enshrine Him within my heart, and meditate on Him within my mind. ||1||Pause||
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਕੀਆ ਸਗਲ ਜਹਾਨੁ ॥
simar simar simar sukhadhaataa jaa kaa keeaa sagal jahaan ||
Meditate, meditate, meditate in remembrance on the Giver of peace, who created the whole Universe.
ਰਸਨਾ ਰਵਹੁ ਏਕੁ ਨਾਰਾਇਣੁ ਸਾਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਮਾਨੁ ॥੧॥
rasanaa ravahu ek naarain saachee dharageh paavahu maan ||1||
With your tongue, savor the One Lord, and you shall be honored in the Court of the True Lord. ||1||
ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗੁ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਏਹੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ॥
saadhoo sa(n)g paraapat jaa kau tin hee paiaa eh nidhaan ||
He alone obtains this treasure, who joins the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਗਾਵਉ ਗੁਣ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਨਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀਜੈ ਦਾਨੁ ॥੨॥੨੯॥੧੧੫॥
gaavau gun keeratan nit suaamee kar kirapaa naanak dheejai dhaan ||2||29||115||
O Lord and Master, mercifully bless Nanak with this gift, that he may ever sing the Glorious Praises of Your Kirtan. ||2||29||115||

ਰਾਖਿ ਲੀਏ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣ ॥

I have been saved, in the Sanctuary of the True Guru.
ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਹੋਆ ਜਗ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਮੇਰੋ ਤਾਰਣ ਤਰਣ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jai jai kaar hoaa jag a(n)tar paarabraham mero taaran taran ||1|| rahaau ||
I am cheered and applauded throughout the world; my Supreme Lord God carries me across. ||1||Pause||
ਬਿਸ੍ਵੰਭਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਸਗਲ ਸਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਪੋਖਣ ਭਰਣ ॥
bisavai(n)bhar pooran sukhadhaataa sagal samagree pokhan bharan ||
The Perfect Lord fills the Universe; He is the Giver of peace; He cherishes and fulfills the whole Universe.
ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਿ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਂਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਚਰਣ ॥੧॥
thaan thana(n)tar sarab nira(n)tar bal bal jaa(n)iee har ke charan ||1||
He is completely filling all places and interspaces; I am a devoted sacrifice to the Lord's Feet. ||1||
ਜੀਅ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਵਸਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਰਬ ਸਿਧਿ ਤੁਮ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਰਣ ॥
jeea jugat vas mere suaamee sarab sidh tum kaaran karan ||
The ways of all beings are in Your Power, O my Lord and Master. All supernatural spiritual powers are Yours; You are the Creator, the Cause of causes.
ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਖਦਾ ਆਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਹੀ ਡਰਣ ॥੨॥੩੦॥੧੧੬॥
aadh jugaadh prabh rakhadhaa aaiaa har simarat naanak nahee ddaran ||2||30||116||
In the beginning, and throughout the ages, God is our Savior and Protector; remembering the Lord in meditation, O Nanak, fear is eliminated. ||2||30||116||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਮੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥
mai naahee prabh sabh kichh teraa ||
I am nothing, God; everything is Yours.
ਈਘੈ ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਊਘੈ ਸਰਗੁਨ ਕੇਲ ਕਰਤ ਬਿਚਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
e'eeghai niragun uooghai saragun kel karat bich suaamee meraa ||1|| rahaau ||
In this world, You are the absolute, formless Lord; in the world hereafter, You are the related Lord of form. You play it both ways, O my Lord and Master. ||1||Pause||
ਨਗਰ ਮਹਿ ਆਪਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਫੁਨਿ ਆਪਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਸਗਲ ਬਸੇਰਾ ॥
nagar meh aap baahar fun aapan prabh mere ko sagal baseraa ||
You exist within the city, and beyond it as well; O my God, You are everywhere.
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਰਾਜਨੁ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਰਾਇਆ ਕਹ ਕਹ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਕਹ ਕਹ ਚੇਰਾ ॥੧॥
aape hee raajan aape hee raiaa keh keh Thaakur keh keh cheraa ||1||
You Yourself are the King, and You Yourself are the subject. In one place, You are the Lord and Master, and in another place, You are the slave. ||1||
ਕਾ ਕਉ ਦੁਰਾਉ ਕਾ ਸਿਉ ਬਲਬੰਚਾ ਜਹ ਜਹ ਪੇਖਉ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਨੇਰਾ ॥
kaa kau dhuraau kaa siau balaba(n)chaa jeh jeh pekhau teh teh neraa ||
From whom should I hide? Whom should I try to deceive? Wherever I look, I see Him near at hand.
ਸਾਧ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਨਾਨਕ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਗਰ ਬੂੰਦ ਨਹੀ ਅਨ ਹੇਰਾ ॥੨॥੧॥੧੧੭॥
saadh moorat gur bheTio naanak mil saagar boo(n)dh nahee an heraa ||2||1||117||
I have met with Guru Nanak, the Embodiment of the Holy Saints. When the drop of water merges into the ocean, it cannot be distinguished as separate again. ||2||1||117||
