ਕਾਇਆ ਨਗਰੀ ਸਬਦੇ ਖੋਜੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਵੰ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨੨॥
kaiaa nagaree sabadhe khoje naam nava(n) nidh paiee ||22||
One who searches the village of the body, through the Shabad, obtains the nine treasures of the Naam. ||22||
ਮਨਸਾ ਮਾਰਿ ਮਨੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਣਾ ਬਿਨੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਾਈ ॥੨੩॥
manasaa maar man sahaj samaanaa bin rasanaa usatat karaiee ||23||
Conquering desire, the mind is absorbed in intuitive ease, and then one chants the Lord's Praises without speaking. ||23||
ਲੋਇਣ ਦੇਖਿ ਰਹੇ ਬਿਸਮਾਦੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਅਦਿਸਟਿ ਲਗਾਈ ॥੨੪॥
loin dhekh rahe bisamaadhee chit adhisaT lagaiee ||24||
Let your eyes gaze upon the Wondrous Lord; let your consciousness be attached to the Unseen Lord. ||24||
ਅਦਿਸਟੁ ਸਦਾ ਰਹੈ ਨਿਰਾਲਮੁ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥੨੫॥
adhisaT sadhaa rahai niraalam jotee jot milaiee ||25||
The Unseen Lord is forever absolute and immaculate; one's light merges into the Light. ||25||
ਹਉ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਿਨਿ ਸਾਚੀ ਬੂਝ ਬੁਝਾਈ ॥੨੬॥
hau gur saalaahee sadhaa aapanaa jin saachee boojh bujhaiee ||26||
I praise my Guru forever, who has inspired me to understand this true understanding. ||26||
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਏਕ ਕਹੈ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਨਾਵਹੁ ਗਤਿ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੨੭॥੨॥੧੧॥
naanak ek kahai bena(n)tee naavahu gat pat paiee ||27||2||11||
Nanak offers this one prayer: through the Name, may I find salvation and honor. ||27||2||11||
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥
raamakalee mahalaa teejaa ||
Raamkalee, Third Mehla:
ਹਰਿ ਕੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਦੁਲੰਭ ਹੈ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਕਹਣਾ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥
har kee poojaa dhula(n)bh hai sa(n)tahu kahanaa kachhoo na jaiee ||1||
It is so hard to obtain that devotional worship of the Lord, O Saints. It cannot be described at all. ||1||
ਸੰਤਹੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਈ ॥
sa(n)tahu gurmukh pooraa paiee ||
O Saints, as Gurmukh, find the Perfect Lord,
ਨਾਮੋ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
naamo pooj karaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
and worship the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਮੈਲਾ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਕਿਆ ਹਉ ਪੂਜ ਚੜਾਈ ॥੨॥
har bin sabh kichh mailaa sa(n)tahu kiaa hau pooj chaRaiee ||2||
Without the Lord, everything is filthy, O Saints; what offering should I place before Him? ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਭਾਵੈ ਸਾ ਪੂਜਾ ਹੋਵੈ ਭਾਣਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ॥੩॥
har saache bhaavai saa poojaa hovai bhaanaa man vasaiee ||3||
Whatever pleases the True Lord is devotional worship; His Will abides in the mind. ||3||
ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰੈ ਸਭੁ ਲੋਕੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਮਨਮੁਖਿ ਥਾਇ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥੪॥
poojaa karai sabh lok sa(n)tahu manmukh thai na paiee ||4||
Everyone worships Him, O Saints, but the self-willed manmukh is not accepted or approved. ||4||
ਸਬਦਿ ਮਰੈ ਮਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਏਹ ਪੂਜਾ ਥਾਇ ਪਾਈ ॥੫॥
sabadh marai man niramal sa(n)tahu eh poojaa thai paiee ||5||
If someone dies in the Word of the Shabad, his mind become immaculate, O Saints; such worship is accepted and approved. ||5||
ਪਵਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਸਾਚੇ ਏਕ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੬॥
pavit paavan se jan saache ek sabadh liv laiee ||6||
Sanctified and pure are those true beings, who enshrine love for the Shabad. ||6||
ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਹੋਰ ਪੂਜ ਨ ਹੋਵੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲੀ ਲੋਕਾਈ ॥੭॥
bin naavai hor pooj na hovee bharam bhulee lokaiee ||7||
There is no worship of the Lord, other than the Name; the world wanders, deluded by doubt. ||7||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣੈ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੮॥
gurmukh aap pachhaanai sa(n)tahu raam naam liv laiee ||8||
The Gurmukh understands his own self, O Saints; he lolvingly centers his mind on the Lord's Name. ||8||
ਆਪੇ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਾਏ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਥਾਇ ਪਾਈ ॥੯॥
aape niramal pooj karaae gur sabadhee thai paiee ||9||
The Immaculate Lord Himself inspires worship of Him; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, it is accepted and approved. ||9||
ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਹਿ ਪਰੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਣਹਿ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ਮਲੁ ਲਾਈ ॥੧੦॥
poojaa kareh par bidh nahee jaaneh dhoojai bhai mal laiee ||10||
Those who worship Him, but do not know the Way, are polluted with the love of duality. ||10||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੁ ਪੂਜਾ ਜਾਣੈ ਭਾਣਾ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਾਈ ॥੧੧॥
gurmukh hovai su poojaa jaanai bhaanaa man vasaiee ||11||
One who becomes Gurmukh, knows what worship is; the Lord's Will abides within his mind. ||11||
ਭਾਣੇ ਤੇ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵੈ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਅੰਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਖਾਈ ॥੧੨॥
bhaane te sabh sukh paavai sa(n)tahu a(n)te naam sakhaiee ||12||
One who accepts the Lord's Will obtains total peace, O Saints; in the end, the Naam will be our help and support. ||12||
ਅਪਣਾ ਆਪੁ ਨ ਪਛਾਣਹਿ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਕੂੜਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧੩॥
apanaa aap na pachhaaneh sa(n)tahu kooR kareh vaddiaaiee ||13||
One who does not understand his own self, O Saints, falsely flatters himself. ||13||
ਪਾਖੰਡਿ ਕੀਨੈ ਜਮੁ ਨਹੀ ਛੋਡੈ ਲੈ ਜਾਸੀ ਪਤਿ ਗਵਾਈ ॥੧੪॥
paakha(n)dd keenai jam nahee chhoddai lai jaasee pat gavaiee ||14||
The Messenger of Death does not give up on those who practices hypocrisy; they are dragged away in disgrace. ||14||
ਜਿਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣਹਿ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਤਿਨ ਹੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੧੫॥
jin a(n)tar sabadh aap pachhaaneh gat mit tin hee paiee ||15||
Those who have the Shabad deep within, understand themselves; they find the way of salvation. ||15||
ਏਹੁ ਮਨੂਆ ਸੁੰਨ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਲਗਾਵੈ ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥੧੬॥
eh manooaa su(n)n samaadh lagaavai jotee jot milaiee ||16||
Their minds enter into the deepest state of Samaadhi, and their light is absorbed into the Light. ||16||
ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਣਹਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਲਾਈ ॥੧੭॥
sun sun gurmukh naam vakhaaneh satasa(n)gat melaiee ||17||
The Gurmukhs listen constantly to the Naam, and chant it in the True Congregation. ||17||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਗਾਵੈ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਵੈ ਦਰਿ ਸਾਚੈ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਈ ॥੧੮॥
gurmukh gaavai aap gavaavai dhar saachai sobhaa paiee ||18||
The Gurmukhs sing the Lord's Praises, and erase self-conceit; they obtain true honor in the Court of the Lord. ||18||
ਸਾਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਵਖਾਣੈ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਈ ॥੧੯॥
saachee baanee sach vakhaanai sach naam liv laiee ||19||
True are their words; they speak only the Truth; they lovingly focus on the True Name. ||19||
ਭੈ ਭੰਜਨੁ ਅਤਿ ਪਾਪ ਨਿਖੰਜਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅੰਤਿ ਸਖਾਈ ॥੨੦॥
bhai bha(n)jan at paap nikha(n)jan meraa prabh a(n)t sakhaiee ||20||
My God is the Destroyer of fear, the Destroyer of sin; in the end, He is our only help and support. ||20||
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੨੧॥੩॥੧੨॥
sabh kichh aape aap varatai naanak naam vaddiaaiee ||21||3||12||
He Himself pervades and permeates everything; O Nanak, glorious greatness is obtained through the Naam. ||21||3||12||
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥

Raamkalee, Third Mehla:
ਹਮ ਕੁਚਲ ਕੁਚੀਲ ਅਤਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਬਦੇ ਮੈਲੁ ਉਤਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
ham kuchal kucheel at abhimaanee mil sabadhe mail utaaree ||1||
I am filthy and polluted, proud and egotistical; receiving the Word of the Shabad, my filth is taken away. ||1||
ਸੰਤਹੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੀ ॥
sa(n)tahu gurmukh naam nisataaree ||
O Saints, the Gurmukhs are saved through the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਸਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਸਿਆ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਕਰਤੈ ਆਪਿ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sachaa naam vasiaa ghaT a(n)tar karatai aap savaaree ||1|| rahaau ||
The True Name abides deep within their hearts. The Creator Himself embellishes them. ||1||Pause||
