Fatehnagar Gurdwara serves the Sikh community of Fateh Nagar in West Delhi, a neighborhood whose name itself resonates with Sikh history — "Fateh" meaning victory, a word central to the Sikh greeting "Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh" (The Khalsa belongs to God, Victory belongs to God).
