Gurdwara Manji Sahib Patshahi Pehli in Karnal marks the sacred site where Guru Nanak Dev Ji rested during his first Udasi (spiritual journey) through the region. According to tradition, the Guru sat on a small mound in a garden and recited hymns that drew many worshippers, leading to a remarkable encounter with local Muslim Pir Abu Ali Shah Kalandhar, who ultimately recognized the Guru's spiritual supremacy. The site was also later visited by Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji on his way to Delhi in 1663.
