Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Asthan Patshahi Nauvin in Rohtak commemorates the three-day stay of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, in 1675 during his fateful journey from Jind to Delhi. The Guru camped beside a pond and had a well dug at the site, and it was during this period that Kashmiri Pandits approached him, pleading for protection against Mughal persecution, a plea that would ultimately lead to the Guru's historic martyrdom in Delhi.
