About
Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha in Delhi is a community gurdwara rooted in the Singh Sabha reform tradition, which galvanized a renaissance in Sikh religious thought and practice beginning in 1873. The movement's impact was profound — it led to the compilation of the definitive Sikh Rehat Maryada (code of conduct), the founding of the Chief Khalsa Diwan as a central Sikh representative body, and the establishment of dozens of Sikh educational institutions across Punjab. This Gurdwara serves as a center for daily prayer, kirtan, community langar, and the continued practice of Sikh traditions in the national capital.
