The Khalsa Diwan Society Vancouver is the oldest Sikh organization in North America, founded in 1906 on West 2nd Avenue. The gurdwara has a rich history tied to the early Sikh immigrant experience in Canada and was instrumental in the community's fight for civil rights and recognition. Today, it continues to serve the Vancouver Sikh community with daily services, langar, youth programs, and community outreach.
