Established in the early 1980s when a small group of five to ten Sikh families began gathering in homes for worship, the Sikh Society of Minnesota has grown into the primary Gurdwara serving the state. Located at 9000 W Bloomington Freeway in Bloomington since around 2010, the Gurdwara provides weekly services, langar, Punjabi school, and cultural programs for the growing Sikh community in the Twin Cities area.
