ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਕਾਟਿ ਕੀਏ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
bhram bhau kaaT ke'ee niravaire jeeau ||
Dispelling my doubts and fears, the Guru has rid me of hatred.
ਗੁਰ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਪੂਰਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥
gur man kee aas pooraiee jeeau ||4||
The Guru has fulfilled the desires of my mind. ||4||
ਜਿਨਿ ਨਾਉ ਪਾਇਆ ਸੋ ਧਨਵੰਤਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
jin naau paiaa so dhanava(n)taa jeeau ||
One who has obtained the Name is wealthy.
ਜਿਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਸੁ ਸੋਭਾਵੰਤਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
jin prabh dhiaaiaa su sobhaava(n)taa jeeau ||
One who meditates on God is glorified.
ਜਿਸੁ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਭ ਸੁਕਰਣੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
jis saadhoo sa(n)gat tis sabh sukaranee jeeau ||
Sublime are all the actions of those who join the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥੫॥੧॥੧੬੬॥
jan naanak sahaj samaiee jeeau ||5||1||166||
Servant Nanak is intuitively absorbed into the Lord. ||5||1||166||

ਆਉ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਰਾਮ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
aau hamaarai raam piaare jeeau ||
Come to me, O my Beloved Lord.
ਰੈਣਿ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਸਾਸਿ ਸਾਸਿ ਚਿਤਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
rain dhinas saas saas chitaare jeeau ||
Night and day, with each and every breath, I think of You.
ਸੰਤ ਦੇਉ ਸੰਦੇਸਾ ਪੈ ਚਰਣਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
sa(n)t dheau sa(n)dhesaa pai charanaare jeeau ||
O Saints, give Him this message; I fall at Your Feet.
ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਤਰੀਐ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
tudh bin kit bidh tareeaai jeeau ||1||
Without You, how can I be saved? ||1||
ਸੰਗਿ ਤੁਮਾਰੈ ਮੈ ਕਰੇ ਅਨੰਦਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
sa(n)g tumaarai mai kare ana(n)dhaa jeeau ||
In Your Company, I am in ecstasy.
ਵਣਿ ਤਿਣਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਭਵਣਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
van tin tirabhavan sukh paramaana(n)dhaa jeeau ||
In the forest, the fields and the three worlds, there is peace and supreme bliss.
ਸੇਜ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਬਿਗਸੰਦਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
sej suhaavee ih man bigasa(n)dhaa jeeau ||
My bed is beautiful, and my mind blossoms forth in ecstasy.
ਪੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਇਹੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਲਹੀਐ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
pekh dharasan ih sukh laheeaai jeeau ||2||
Beholding the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, I have found this peace. ||2||
ਚਰਣ ਪਖਾਰਿ ਕਰੀ ਨਿਤ ਸੇਵਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
charan pakhaar karee nit sevaa jeeau ||
I wash Your Feet, and constantly serve You.
ਪੂਜਾ ਅਰਚਾ ਬੰਦਨ ਦੇਵਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
poojaa arachaa ba(n)dhan dhevaa jeeau ||
O Divine Lord, I worship and adore You; I bow down before You.
ਦਾਸਨਿ ਦਾਸੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਿ ਲੇਵਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
dhaasan dhaas naam jap levaa jeeau ||
I am the slave of Your slaves; I chant Your Name.
ਬਿਨਉ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਪਹਿ ਕਹੀਐ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
binau Thaakur peh kaheeaai jeeau ||3||
I offer this prayer to my Lord and Master. ||3||
ਇਛ ਪੁੰਨੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਹਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
eichh pu(n)nee meree man tan hariaa jeeau ||
My desires are fulfilled, and my mind and body are rejuvenated.
ਦਰਸਨ ਪੇਖਤ ਸਭ ਦੁਖ ਪਰਹਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
dharasan pekhat sabh dhukh parahariaa jeeau ||
Beholding the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan, all my pains have been taken away.
ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪੇ ਜਪਿ ਤਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
har har naam jape jap tariaa jeeau ||
Chanting and meditating on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, I have been saved.
ਇਹੁ ਅਜਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਹੀਐ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੨॥੧੬੭॥
eih ajar naanak sukh saheeaai jeeau ||4||2||167||
Nanak endures this unendurable celestial bliss. ||4||2||167||

ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਸਾਜਨ ਮਨ ਮਿਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
sun sun saajan man mit piaare jeeau ||
Listen, listen, O my friend and companion, O Beloved of my mind:
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਇਹੁ ਜੀਉ ਭਿ ਵਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
man tan teraa ih jeeau bh vaare jeeau ||
my mind and body are Yours. This life is a sacrifice to You as well.
ਵਿਸਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅਧਾਰੇ ਜੀਉ ॥
visar naahee prabh praan adhaare jeeau ||
May I never forget God, the Support of the breath of life.
ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥
sadhaa teree saranaiee jeeau ||1||
I have come to Your Eternal Sanctuary. ||1||
ਜਿਸੁ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਮਨੁ ਜੀਵੈ ਭਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥
jis miliaai man jeevai bhaiee jeeau ||
Meeting Him, my mind is revived, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਸੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥
gur parasaadhee so har har paiee jeeau ||
By Guru's Grace, I have found the Lord, Har, Har.
ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਆ ਜਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥
sabh kichh prabh kaa prabh keeaa jaiee jeeau ||
All things belong to God; all places belong to God.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਉ ਸਦ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥
prabh kau sadh bal jaiee jeeau ||2||
I am forever a sacrifice to God. ||2||
ਏਹੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਜਪੈ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
eh nidhaan japai vaddabhaagee jeeau ||
Very fortunate are those who meditate on this treasure.
ਨਾਮ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਏਕ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਗੀ ਜੀਉ ॥
naam nira(n)jan ek liv laagee jeeau ||
They enshrine love for the Naam, the Name of the One Immaculate Lord.
ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਭੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥
gur pooraa paiaa sabh dhukh miTaiaa jeeau ||
Finding the Perfect Guru, all suffering is dispelled.
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥
aaTh pahar gun gaiaa jeeau ||3||
Twenty-four hours a day, I sing the Glories of God. ||3||
ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
ratan padhaarath har naam tumaaraa jeeau ||
Your Name is the treasure of jewels, Lord.
ਤੂੰ ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹੁ ਭਗਤੁ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
too(n) sachaa saahu bhagat vanajaaraa jeeau ||
You are the True Banker; Your devotee is the trader.
ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਰਾਸਿ ਸਚੁ ਵਾਪਾਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥
har dhan raas sach vaapaaraa jeeau ||
True is the trade of those who have the wealth of the Lord's assets.
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੩॥੧੬੮॥
jan naanak sadh balihaaraa jeeau ||4||3||168||
Servant Nanak is forever a sacrifice. ||4||3||168||

too(n) meraa bahu maan karate too(n) meraa bahu maan ||
I am so proud of You, O Creator; I am so proud of You.
ਜੋਰਿ ਤੁਮਾਰੈ ਸੁਖਿ ਵਸਾ ਸਚੁ ਸਬਦੁ ਨੀਸਾਣੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jor tumaarai sukh vasaa sach sabadh neesaan ||1|| rahaau ||
Through Your Almighty Power, I dwell in peace. The True Word of the Shabad is my banner and insignia. ||1||Pause||
ਸਭੇ ਗਲਾ ਜਾਤੀਆ ਸੁਣਿ ਕੈ ਚੁਪ ਕੀਆ ॥
sabhe galaa jaateeaa sun kai chup keeaa ||
He hears and knows everything, but he keeps silent.
ਕਦ ਹੀ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਨ ਲਧੀਆ ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੜਿਆ ॥੧॥
kadh hee surat na ladheeaa maiaa mohaRiaa ||1||
Bewitched by Maya, he never regains awareness. ||1||
ਦੇਇ ਬੁਝਾਰਤ ਸਾਰਤਾ ਸੇ ਅਖੀ ਡਿਠੜਿਆ ॥
dhei bujhaarat saarataa se akhee ddiThaRiaa ||
The riddles and hints are given, and he sees them with his eyes.
