ਹੈ ਤੂਹੈ ਤੂ ਹੋਵਨਹਾਰ ॥ ਅਗਮ ਅਗਾਧਿ ਊਚ ਆਪਾਰ ॥
hai toohai too hovanahaar || agam agaadh uooch aapaar ||
You are, You are, and You shall ever be, O inaccessible, unfathomable, lofty and infinite Lord.
ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਤਿਨ ਭਉ ਦੁਖੁ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
jo tudh seveh tin bhau dhukh naeh ||
Those who serve You, are not touched by fear or suffering.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
gur parasaadh naanak gun gaeh ||2||
By Guru's Grace, O Nanak, sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||2||
ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸੋ ਤੇਰਾ ਰੂਪੁ ॥ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
jo dheesai so teraa roop || gun nidhaan govi(n)dh anoop ||
Whatever is seen, is Your form, O treasure of virtue, O Lord of the Universe, O Lord of incomparable beauty.
ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਜਨ ਸੋਇ ॥
simar simar simar jan soi ||
Remembering, remembering, remembering the Lord in meditation, His humble servant becomes like Him.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਮਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੩॥
naanak karam paraapat hoi ||3||
O Nanak, by His Grace, we obtain Him. ||3||
ਜਿਨਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਤਿਸ ਕਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ॥
jin japiaa tis kau balihaar ||
I am a sacrifice to those who meditate on the Lord.
ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਤਰੈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ॥
tis kai sa(n)g tarai sa(n)saar ||
Associating with them, the whole world is saved.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਲੋਚਾ ਪੂਰਿ ॥
kahu naanak prabh lochaa poor ||
Says Nanak, God fulfills our hopes and aspirations.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਕੀ ਬਾਛਉ ਧੂਰਿ ॥੪॥੨॥
sa(n)t janaa kee baachhau dhoor ||4||2||
I long for the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||4||2||
ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੩ ॥
tila(n)g mahalaa panjavaa ghar teejaa ||
Tilang, Fifth Mehla, Third House:
ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
miharavaan saahib miharavaan ||
Merciful, the Lord Master is Merciful.
ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
saahib meraa miharavaan ||
My Lord Master is Merciful.
ਜੀਅ ਸਗਲ ਕਉ ਦੇਇ ਦਾਨੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
jeea sagal kau dhei dhaan || rahaau ||
He gives His gifts to all beings. ||Pause||
ਤੂ ਕਾਹੇ ਡੋਲਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆ ਤੁਧੁ ਰਾਖੈਗਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
too kaahe ddoleh praaneeaa tudh raakhaigaa sirajanahaar ||
Why do you waver, O mortal being? The Creator Lord Himself shall protect you.
ਜਿਨਿ ਪੈਦਾਇਸਿ ਤੂ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਦੇਇ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥੧॥
jin paidhais too keeaa soiee dhei aadhaar ||1||
He who created you, will also give you nourishment. ||1||
ਜਿਨਿ ਉਪਾਈ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਸਾਰ ॥
jin upaiee medhanee soiee karadhaa saar ||
The One who created the world, takes care of it.
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਮਾਲਕੁ ਦਿਲਾ ਕਾ ਸਚਾ ਪਰਵਦਗਾਰੁ ॥੨॥
ghaT ghaT maalak dhilaa kaa sachaa paravadhagaar ||2||
In each and every heart and mind, the Lord is the True Cherisher. ||2||
ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕੀਮ ਨ ਜਾਣੀਐ ਵਡਾ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ॥
kudharat keem na jaaneeaai vaddaa veparavaahu ||
His creative potency and His value cannot be known; He is the Great and carefree Lord.
ਕਰਿ ਬੰਦੇ ਤੂ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਜਿਚਰੁ ਘਟ ਮਹਿ ਸਾਹੁ ॥੩॥
kar ba(n)dhe too ba(n)dhagee jichar ghaT meh saahu ||3||
O human being, meditate on the Lord, as long as there is breath in your body. ||3||
ਤੂ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਅਕਥੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਾਸਿ ॥
too samarath akath agochar jeeau pi(n)dd teree raas ||
O God, You are all-powerful, inexpressible and imperceptible; my soul and body are Your capital.
ਰਹਮ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੪॥੩॥
raham teree sukh paiaa sadhaa naanak kee aradhaas ||4||3||
By Your Mercy, may I find peace; this is Nanak's lasting prayer. ||4||3||
ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੩ ॥
tila(n)g mahalaa panjavaa ghar teejaa ||
Tilang, Fifth Mehla, Third House:
ਕਰਤੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਮੁਸਤਾਕੁ ॥
karate kudharatee musataak ||
O Creator, through Your creative potency, I am in love with You.
ਦੀਨ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਏਕ ਤੂਹੀ ਸਭ ਖਲਕ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਪਾਕੁ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dheen dhuneeaa ek toohee sabh khalak hee te paak || rahaau ||
You alone are my spiritual and temporal Lord; and yet, You are detached from all Your creation. ||Pause||
ਖਿਨ ਮਾਹਿ ਥਾਪਿ ਉਥਾਪਦਾ ਆਚਰਜ ਤੇਰੇ ਰੂਪ ॥
khin maeh thaap uthaapadhaa aacharaj tere roop ||
In an instant, You establish and disestablish. Wondrous is Your form!
ਕਉਣੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਚਲਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਧਿਆਰੇ ਮਹਿ ਦੀਪ ॥੧॥
kaun jaanai chalat tere a(n)dhiaare meh dheep ||1||
Who can know Your play? You are the Light in the darkness. ||1||
ਖੁਦਿ ਖਸਮ ਖਲਕ ਜਹਾਨ ਅਲਹ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨ ਖੁਦਾਇ ॥
khudh khasam khalak jahaan aleh miharavaan khudhai ||
You are the Master of Your creation, the Lord of all the world, O Merciful Lord God.
ਦਿਨਸੁ ਰੈਣਿ ਜਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਅਰਾਧੇ ਸੋ ਕਿਉ ਦੋਜਕਿ ਜਾਇ ॥੨॥
dhinas rain j tudh araadhe so kiau dhojak jai ||2||
One who worships You day and night - why should he have to go to hell? ||2||
ਅਜਰਾਈਲੁ ਯਾਰੁ ਬੰਦੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥
ajaraieel yaar ba(n)dhe jis teraa aadhaar ||
Azraa-eel, the Messenger of Death, is the friend of the human being who has Your support, Lord.
ਗੁਨਹ ਉਸ ਕੇ ਸਗਲ ਆਫੂ ਤੇਰੇ ਜਨ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਦੀਦਾਰੁ ॥੩॥
guneh us ke sagal aafoo tere jan dhekheh dheedhaar ||3||
His sins are all forgiven; Your humble servant gazes upon Your Vision. ||3||
ਦੁਨੀਆ ਚੀਜ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਸਗਲੇ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਉ ॥
dhuneeaa cheej filahaal sagale sach sukh teraa naau ||
All worldly considerations are for the present only. True peace comes only from Your Name.
ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਬੂਝਿਆ ਸਦਾ ਏਕਸੁ ਗਾਉ ॥੪॥੪॥
gur mil naanak boojhiaa sadhaa ekas gaau ||4||4||
Meeting the Guru, Nanak understands; He sings only Your Praises forever, O Lord. ||4||4||
ਤਿਲੰਗ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
tila(n)g mahalaa panjavaa ||
Tilang, Fifth Mehla:
ਮੀਰਾਂ ਦਾਨਾਂ ਦਿਲ ਸੋਚ ॥
meeraa(n) dhaanaa(n) dhil soch ||
Think of the Lord in your mind, O wise one.
ਮੁਹਬਤੇ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਬਸੈ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹ ਬੰਦੀ ਮੋਚ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
muhabate man tan basai sach saeh ba(n)dhee moch ||1|| rahaau ||
Enshrine love for the True Lord in your mind and body; He is the Liberator from bondage. ||1||Pause||
ਦੀਦਨੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਛੁ ਨਹੀ ਇਸ ਕਾ ਮੋਲੁ ॥
dheedhane dheedhaar saahib kachh nahee is kaa mol ||
The value of seeing the Vision of the Lord Master cannot be estimated.
ਪਾਕ ਪਰਵਦਗਾਰ ਤੂ ਖੁਦਿ ਖਸਮੁ ਵਡਾ ਅਤੋਲੁ ॥੧॥
paak paravadhagaar too khudh khasam vaddaa atol ||1||
You are the Pure Cherisher; You Yourself are the great and immeasurable Lord and Master. ||1||
ਦਸ੍ਤਗੀਰੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਦਿਲਾਵਰ ਤੂਹੀ ਤੂਹੀ ਏਕ ॥
dhastageeree dheh dhilaavar toohee toohee ek ||
Give me Your help, O brave and generous Lord; You are the One, You are the Only Lord.
ਕਰਤਾਰ ਕੁਦਰਤਿ ਕਰਣ ਖਾਲਕ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਟੇਕ ॥੨॥੫॥
karataar kudharat karan khaalak naanak teree Tek ||2||5||
O Creator Lord, by Your creative potency, You created the world; Nanak holds tight to Your support. ||2||5||

Tilang, First Mehla, Second House:
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਤਿਨਿ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿਆ ਕਹੀਐ ਰੇ ਭਾਈ ॥
jin keeaa tin dhekhiaa kiaa kaheeaai re bhaiee ||
The One who created the world watches over it; what more can we say, O Siblings of Destiny?
