ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਆ ਸੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜਾਣੈ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਮਹਲੁ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
jin keeaa soiee prabh jaanai har kaa mahal apaaraa ||
One who knows that God created him, reaches the Incomparable Mansion of the Lord's Presence.
ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸੁ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੧॥
bhagat karee har ke gun gaavaa naanak dhaas tumaaraa ||4||1||
Worshipping the Lord, I sing His Glorious Praises. Nanak is Your slave. ||4||1||
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
raamakalee mahalaa panjavaa ||
Raamkalee, Fifth Mehla:
ਪਵਹੁ ਚਰਣਾ ਤਲਿ ਊਪਰਿ ਆਵਹੁ ਐਸੀ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਵਹੁ ॥
pavahu charanaa tal uoopar aavahu aaisee sev kamaavahu ||
Place yourself beneath all men's feet, and you will be uplifted; serve Him in this way.
ਆਪਸ ਤੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਸਭ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਤਉ ਦਰਗਹ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਹੁ ॥੧॥
aapas te uoopar sabh jaanahu tau dharageh sukh paavahu ||1||
Know that all are above you, and you shall find peace in the Court of the Lord. ||1||
ਸੰਤਹੁ ਐਸੀ ਕਥਹੁ ਕਹਾਣੀ ॥ ਸੁਰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਰ ਦੇਵ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਖਿਨੁ ਬੋਲਹੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਬਾਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sa(n)tahu aaisee kathahu kahaanee || sur pavitr nar dhev pavitraa khin bolahu gurmukh baanee ||1|| rahaau ||
O Saints, speak that speech which purifies the gods and sanctifies the divine beings. As Gurmukh, chant the Word of His Bani, even for an instant. ||1||Pause||
ਪਰਪੰਚੁ ਛੋਡਿ ਸਹਜ ਘਰਿ ਬੈਸਹੁ ਝੂਠਾ ਕਹਹੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
parapa(n)ch chhodd sahaj ghar baisahu jhooThaa kahahu na koiee ||
Renounce your fraudulent plans, and dwell in the celestial palace; do not call anyone else false.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਨਵੈ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਇਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਤਤੁ ਬਿਲੋਈ ॥੨॥
satigur milahu navai nidh paavahu in bidh tat biloiee ||2||
Meeting with the True Guru, you shall receive the nine treasures; in this way, you shall find the essence of reality. ||2||
ਭਰਮੁ ਚੁਕਾਵਹੁ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਆਤਮੁ ਚੀਨਹੁ ਭਾਈ ॥
bharam chukaavahu gurmukh liv laavahu aatam cheenahu bhaiee ||
Eradicate doubt, and as Gurmukh, enshrine love for the Lord; understand your own soul, O Siblings of Destiny.
ਨਿਕਟਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਣਹੁ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਹਾਜਰੁ ਕਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ ਕਰਹੁ ਬੁਰਾਈ ॥੩॥
nikaT kar jaanahu sadhaa prabh haajar kis siau karahu buraiee ||3||
Know that God is near at hand, and ever-present. How could you try to hurt anyone else? ||3||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਮਿਲਿਐ ਮਾਰਗੁ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਸਹਜੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
satigur miliaai maarag mukataa sahaje mile suaamee ||
Meeting with the True Guru, your path shall be clear, and you shall easily meet your Lord and Master.
ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੇ ਜਨ ਜਿਨੀ ਕਲਿ ਮਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ॥੪॥੨॥
dhan dhan se jan jinee kal meh har paiaa jan naanak sadh kurabaanee ||4||2||
Blessed, blessed are those humble beings, who, in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga, find the Lord. Nanak is forever a sacrifice to them. ||4||2||
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
raamakalee mahalaa panjavaa ||
Raamkalee, Fifth Mehla:
ਆਵਤ ਹਰਖ ਨ ਜਾਵਤ ਦੂਖਾ ਨਹ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਮਨ ਰੋਗਨੀ ॥
aavat harakh na jaavat dhookhaa neh biaapai man roganee ||
Coming does not please me, and going does not bring me pain, and so my mind is not afflicted by disease.
ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਤਉ ਉਤਰੀ ਸਗਲ ਬਿਓਗਨੀ ॥੧॥
sadhaa ana(n)dh gur pooraa paiaa tau utaree sagal bioganee ||1||
I am in bliss forever, for I have found the Perfect Guru; my separation from the Lord is totally ended. ||1||
ਇਹ ਬਿਧਿ ਹੈ ਮਨੁ ਜੋਗਨੀ ॥
eeh bidh hai man joganee ||
This is how I have joined my mind to the Lord.
ਮੋਹੁ ਸੋਗੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਲੋਗੁ ਨ ਬਿਆਪੈ ਤਹ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸ ਭੋਗਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
moh sog rog log na biaapai teh har har har ras bhoganee ||1|| rahaau ||
Attachment, sorrow, disease and public opinion do not affect me, and so, I enjoy the subtle essence of the Lord, Har, Har, Har. ||1||Pause||
ਸੁਰਗ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਮਿਰਤ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਪਇਆਲ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਲੋਗਨੀ ॥
surag pavitraa mirat pavitraa piaal pavitr aloganee ||
I am pure in the heavenly realm, pure on this earth, and pure in the nether regions of the underworld. I remain apart from the people of the world.
ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਭੁੰਚੈ ਜਤ ਕਤ ਪੇਖਉ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨੀ ॥੨॥
aagiaakaaree sadhaa sukh bhu(n)chai jat kat pekhau har gunee ||2||
Obedient to the Lord, I enjoy peace forever; wherever I look, I see the Lord of glorious virtues. ||2||
ਨਹ ਸਿਵ ਸਕਤੀ ਜਲੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਵਨਾ ਤਹ ਅਕਾਰੁ ਨਹੀ ਮੇਦਨੀ ॥
neh siv sakatee jal nahee pavanaa teh akaar nahee medhanee ||
There is no Shiva or Shakti, no energy or matter, no water or wind, no world of form there,
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੋਗ ਕਾ ਤਹਾ ਨਿਵਾਸਾ ਜਹ ਅਵਿਗਤ ਨਾਥੁ ਅਗਮ ਧਨੀ ॥੩॥
satigur jog kaa tahaa nivaasaa jeh avigat naath agam dhanee ||3||
where the True Guru, the Yogi, dwells, where the Imperishable Lord God, the Unapproachable Master abides. ||3||
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਧਨੁ ਸਭੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਹਉ ਕਿਆ ਗਨੀ ॥
tan man har kaa dhan sabh har kaa har ke gun hau kiaa ganee ||
Body and mind belong to the Lord; all wealth belongs to the Lord; what glorious virtues of the Lord can I describe?
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਮ ਤੁਮ ਗੁਰਿ ਖੋਈ ਹੈ ਅੰਭੈ ਅੰਭੁ ਮਿਲੋਗਨੀ ॥੪॥੩॥
kahu naanak ham tum gur khoiee hai a(n)bhai a(n)bh miloganee ||4||3||
Says Nanak, the Guru has destroyed my sense of 'mine and yours'. Like water with water, I am blended with God. ||4||3||
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

Raamkalee, Fifth Mehla:
ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਰਹਤ ਰਹੈ ਨਿਰਾਰੀ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਧ ਨ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
trai gun rahat rahai niraaree saadhik sidh na jaanai ||
It is beyond the three qualities; it remains untouched. The seekers and Siddhas do not know it.
ਰਤਨ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਖਜਾਨੈ ॥੧॥
ratan koThaRee a(n)mirat sa(n)pooran satigur kai khajaanai ||1||
There is a chamber filled with jewels, overflowing with Ambrosial Nectar, in the Guru's Treasury. ||1||
ਅਚਰਜੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
acharaj kichh kahan na jaiee ||
This thing is wonderful and amazing! It cannot be described.
ਬਸਤੁ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਭਾਈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
basat agochar bhaiee ||1|| rahaau ||
It is an unfathomable object, O Siblings of Destiny! ||1||Pause||
ਮੋਲੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਛੁ ਕਰਣੈ ਜੋਗਾ ਕਿਆ ਕੋ ਕਹੈ ਸੁਣਾਵੈ ॥
mol naahee kachh karanai jogaa kiaa ko kahai sunaavai ||
Its value cannot be estimated at all; what can anyone say about it?
ਕਥਨ ਕਹਣ ਕਉ ਸੋਝੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜੋ ਪੇਖੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਣਿ ਆਵੈ ॥੨॥
kathan kahan kau sojhee naahee jo pekhai tis ban aavai ||2||
By speaking and describing it, it cannot be understood; only one who sees it realizes it. ||2||
ਸੋਈ ਜਾਣੈ ਕਰਣੈਹਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿਆ ਬੇਚਾਰਾ ॥
soiee jaanai karanaihaaraa keetaa kiaa bechaaraa ||
Only the Creator Lord knows it; what can any poor creature do?
ਆਪਣੀ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਪੂਰ ਭੰਡਾਰਾ ॥੩॥
aapanee gat mit aape jaanai har aape poor bha(n)ddaaraa ||3||
Only He Himself knows His own state and extent. The Lord Himself is the treasure overflowing. ||3||
ਐਸਾ ਰਸੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਮਨਿ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਰਹੇ ਆਘਾਈ ॥
aaisaa ras a(n)mrit man chaakhiaa tirapat rahe aaghaiee ||
Tasting such Ambrosial Nectar, the mind remains satisfied and satiated.
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੪॥੪॥
kahu naanak meree aasaa pooree satigur kee saranaiee ||4||4||
Says Nanak, my hopes are fulfilled; I have found the Guru's Sanctuary. ||4||4||
