Gurudwara Patshahi Chevin

Gurdwara Patshahi Chevin (Sixth Sovereignty) in Amritsar marks a site associated with Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh Guru who introduced the concept of miri-piri — the dual authority of temporal and spiritual power — by wearing two swords after the execution of his father Guru Arjan Dev by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
